Content Guidelines

In brief

galeria.casa is for lawful art whose substantive creative expression was made by people. Adult non-explicit nudity and serious artistic, documentary, historical, educational, and political work are welcome. Sexual exploitation, explicit sexual content, abuse, threats, doxxing, fraud, rights violations, and substantially generative-AI-created work are not. We consider context and observable content rather than relying on automated AI detectors.

These Guidelines are part of the Terms of Service. They apply to public, unlisted, draft, and administrative content, account information, messages, links, and conduct through the Service.

1. Art involving nudity and adult sexual themes

Allowed when lawful and presented for a legitimate artistic, documentary, historical, educational, or political purpose:

• adult non-explicit nudity;

• life drawing, figurative work, and nude painting or sculpture;

• fine-art photography involving adult nudity;

• documentary, historical, educational, or political work involving adult nudity; and

• non-explicit adult sexual themes.

We do not blur, hide, or gate otherwise allowed work merely because an adult body is nude. Context matters, including framing, title, accompanying text, the apparent purpose of the work, consent, and whether the presentation sexualizes or exploits a person.

Not allowed:

• visible or clearly depicted sexual acts, or material primarily made for sexual gratification;

• sexual services, sexual exploitation, or trafficking;

• non-consensual intimate imagery, voyeuristic material, or sexual deepfakes;

• any sexualized depiction of a minor;

• real or photorealistic nude imagery of a minor, even when claimed as art or documentation, for this conservative beta rule; or

• grooming, solicitation, or facilitation of child or adult sexual abuse.

2. Human authorship

galeria.casa is for work whose substantive creative expression was made by people. Do not upload prompt-generated images, video, audio, or writing, or work in which generative AI supplies a substantial expressive element. Disclosure, light editing, or ownership of the source model does not make that work eligible.

Allowed tools include ordinary editing and retouching, color correction, denoising, bounded upscaling that does not invent substantial expressive detail, background removal, spellcheck, translation, accessibility tools, computational photography, and human-directed digital, 3D, procedural, or algorithmic work. Documentation photographs of physical work are allowed.

Borderline examples

• Generative fill and outpainting: Removing dust or extending a flat, non-expressive edge for layout may be ordinary editing. Generating a new figure, object, landscape, texture, or meaningful scene element is not allowed.

• AI references: You may study an AI-generated reference privately as one input to your process, but you may not upload it. A finished human-made work is allowed only when its expressive result is genuinely your own rather than a close reconstruction of generated output. Keep process evidence when the distinction may matter.

• Collage: A collage of human-made or lawfully sourced material can be allowed. Generative imagery does not become allowed merely because it is one layer among others; if it supplies a substantial expressive element, the work is not allowed.

• Reconstruction and restoration: Narrow repair of damage or missing pixels is allowed. Generating substantial missing subjects, scenery, or style-dependent detail is not.

• Style transfer and neural filters: A minor corrective filter may be ordinary editing. A model that redraws an image, supplies a signature style, or materially determines its expressive surface is not allowed.

• Models trained on an artist’s own work: A model-generated version remains generative output and is not allowed, even when the artist owns every training image.

• Documentary or critical use: A human-made work may include a limited example of generative output when necessary for criticism, reporting, research, or documentation and when the example is clearly identified, lawful, and not the work’s primary expressive appeal. Ask [email protected] before publishing a close case.

We may ask for a plain description of process, source files, or other reasonable context. We will not treat an automated AI detector as conclusive evidence. We evaluate the work, process information, consistency, and other available evidence.

3. Safety, dignity, and privacy

Do not post or facilitate:

• stalking, doxxing, or disclosure of sensitive personal information without a legitimate basis;

• credible threats, targeted intimidation, or encouragement of serious unlawful violence;

• hateful abuse targeting a person or group based on protected or vulnerable characteristics;

• non-consensual intimate material or imagery made in circumstances that violate a reasonable expectation of privacy;

• trafficking, exploitation, grooming, or instructions that meaningfully facilitate abuse; or

• material that celebrates or instructs serious unlawful exploitation or cruelty without legitimate documentary, educational, political, or artistic context.

Depicting difficult subjects is not automatically endorsement. We consider artistic and public-interest context, while prioritizing consent, safety, and the dignity of depicted people.

4. Rights and authenticity

Do not upload or publish copyrighted material you do not have permission to use, or material that infringes trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Obtain permission from photographers, artists, writers, collaborators, and depicted people when required. Credit is not a substitute for permission.

Do not impersonate another person or organization, falsely claim authorship or affiliation, fabricate provenance or sale records, or use misleading metadata to deceive. Parody, criticism, and historical documentation may be allowed when they are not likely to mislead people about identity or source.

Do not upload copyrighted material unless you have permission to use it. Trademark, privacy, publicity, and impersonation reports should go to [email protected].

5. Service integrity

Do not distribute malware, phishing, deceptive links, unsolicited bulk messages, or repetitive promotional spam. Do not manipulate engagement, evade a restriction, create replacement accounts after termination without permission, interfere with technical controls, or coordinate abuse against the Service or its users.

6. How moderation works

Moderation is reactive and risk-based. We do not promise to pre-screen every upload. We may review reports, content available to us, account history, context, and credible external information. We may restrict visibility, remove content, request changes, preserve evidence, warn, suspend, or terminate. Serious or urgent harm can lead to immediate action; close cases may receive a request for context.

A lawful work is not automatically entitled to hosting, and an unpopular or challenging work does not violate these Guidelines merely because someone objects to it. We aim to apply these rules consistently while accounting for context and safety.
