Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about how galeria.casa works, what your catalog can do, and what happens with your data. If something is still unclear, join the waitlist and we'll answer.

Can I keep my works private?

Every work can be public, unlisted, or private. Public works appear in your catalog, unlisted works stay off the catalog and are only visible through a private link, and private works are hidden from everyone but you. You can also password-protect your whole gallery, and gate individual collections and exhibitions behind a password.

Nothing goes live without you choosing it. There are no feeds or algorithms deciding what visitors see — your catalog shows exactly what you publish.

Do I own my data?

Yes. You own your catalog and the work it documents, and you can leave anytime. Export the entire catalog as a CSV file whenever you want, and keep your original images and files — nothing is held hostage inside the product.

Exports are standard, portable files you can open in any spreadsheet app or take to another tool. No lock-in, ever.

Who is galeria.casa for?

Artists, galleries, and collectors. Artists build a clean portfolio and catalog of works, galleries publish exhibitions, events, and collections, and collectors keep a private record of what they own. Every account is built around the same quiet, understated gallery-style presentation.

Account types tailor the experience for artists, galleries, or collectors. Browse the example galleries on the home page to get a feel for how each kind of catalog looks.

How much does galeria.casa cost?

galeria.casa is free during early access. Join the waitlist to get in, and use everything without paying. When paid plans do arrive, there will be a single annual price: no per-work fees, no per-seat charges, and no counting how many people you invite.

We'll announce paid plans on the waitlist when they're ready. Until then, the only cost is the time you spend uploading your works.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. Every gallery gets a galeria address — yourname.galeria.casa — ready to share right away. If you own a domain, you can connect it to your gallery too. Custom domains need to be verified before visitors can use them, and then traffic routes to your catalog.

Your subdomain is free and immediate. Verification is a simple DNS record, and the settings page walks you through it.

Can I import my existing catalog?

Yes. If you already keep a spreadsheet of your works, you can import it as a CSV file and get your catalog started without re-entering everything by hand. You can also export your catalog to CSV at any time, so moving data in and out is straightforward.

When an import finishes, you get a report of how many works were added and which rows had errors, so nothing fails silently.

Can visitors ask me about a work?

Yes, if you turn inquiries on. Visitors can send you a message about a specific work straight from the public catalog, and it lands in your admin inbox with an email notification. Turn inquiries off and the contact flow disappears entirely.

Inquiries sent from a work page are linked to that work, so you always know what they're asking about.
